Originally constructed in 1965 by Brodrene Lothe A/S (Norway), M/V Anda was initially tasked by the Norwegian Government as a buoy tender and more recently by the Norwegian Coast Guard for patrol duty between Russian and Norwegian waters. Originally constructed to DNV 1-A1-KiceC.
Vessel hull and main deckhouse are steel, constructed to Ice Class, bridge deckhouse is aluminium.
The vessel is currently undergoing a complete yacht conversion at Harbor Yacht Services in Subic Bay, Philippines. Harbor Yacht Services is a highly experienced yard with six previous successful yacht conversions. The project is overseen by direct supervision of the British shipyard owners, who offer experience as Marine Engineer and Naval Architect. The entire conversion is to be completed within 12 months.
All surfaces on the M/V Anda will being taken down to bare metal, will be refinished to new condition and finally finished to yacht quality. All new systems, all new interior layout and finished surfaces will be installed.
